I start with http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~grandmananlines/hawaiiphotos.htm in the browser.... erase *hawaiiphotos.htm * ** I left the last / after the account name. I get http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~grandmananlines/ in the browser, BUT the page starts with "Ipswitch.com is currently experiencing technical difficulties. The links below are available while we address the problem. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and are working hard to bring Ipswitch.com back online as soon as possible. " with a page full of product links. Why is that appearing? Now.... If you want that bottom photo on your main page to be out of the RW banner at the bottom, I think you'll need to put <.div> before it and </div> after it, and before the closing html tag. Otherwise, it sits on the same space as the banner. On your photos page - these are lovely. You'll need to do a few things though.... For example, you have Hawaii%20037_small1.jpg" xthumbnail-orig-image="Hawaii 037.jpg" Get rid of the spaces in your file names to get rid of the % symbol. Use _ or - between words. And use all lowercase letters. Make all your folder names lowercase too, and no spaces. Next, add an ALT tag. img border="2" src="Hawaii%20005_small.jpg" xthumbnail-orig-image="Hawaii 005.jpg Make a space after .jpg (before the "> ) and add ALT="put description here" So.... src="Hawaii%20005_small.jpg" xthumbnail-orig-image="Hawaii 005.jpgALT="Hawaii 2000 trip with Mom"> or whatever description. Right now, without ALT tags, users don't know why they should click on the photo. OR... you could re-make your photo list (not hard to do). You could make a simple 2 row table, with or without a border. Put the image in the top row, and below it, put a short photo title. Tables help organize info. Your 6th photo, top line, does not show-- red X. Look closely at your folder name, and file name. It's probably something simple, like the file name is in a different CaSe than the link. Also, at the top of your page in the html you'll see <title>New Page 1</title> Take out New Page, and put a really descriptive title there and on all your pages. Then, in a few weeks to months, you'll be showing up in Google etc. ! Instead of "Welcome" as your main page title, also change that. Maybe <.title>The Ties That Bind plus your family name<./title> or something distinctive to set your site apart. Pat will also explain DOC Types to you. You don't have one on your pages yet. You've done a really nice job overall. I'm envious of your travels! Judy
