I see the message is gone from the Help Desk re: ftping, but I have been unable to connect all morning again. Anyone else having problems? I am anxious to reload a page removing a link to a local church whose website has been hijacked by good-traffic.hk. This, after many hours scanning my own computer for virus' etc., to realize it's not my computer at all, but the website. Meanwhile, I'd deleted cookies etc., while checking for any problem with my own computer, so just double checking with everyone to make sure I didn't remove something I need to ftp :-) Linda B.
Linda, You are not alone. I'm unable to connect this morning either. The server closes the connection as soon as the password is supplied. I tried to access www.usgenweb.org/de page Thurs night EDT and the RW server said the page wasn't there. Dunno if that's because they moved it off RW and the genweb push hasn't gotten the memo or if there was a problem with RW. Cheryl Jim Rickenbacker(3) wrote: > Linda, > You are not alone.
