Hi All, As a newbie to all of this technical stuff, I really can't help, but am wondering if this might not be a compatibility problem? I too was using an old version of WS FTP, and I got a new computer with......Vista, needless to say, I experienced problems, and I needed to update my FTP program. I have the old 95 version of WS-FTP so, my view doesn't match the tutorial but, it doesn't matter since I had no problem getting everything to connect. My problem is that, after creating my 'new' site I leave ftp. If I make and changes to the new site and save them, then go back to upload any changes, the new site name is not on the ftp profile directory..I have to go back to the old site where this new was linked and save and upload the changes in it to get everything to work. Where is the new site in ftp? Why won't it keep the new site name in the directory of ftp. It is in my local directory of course, but that is all. I have gone several times to create a 'new' profile and the same thing happens.. Anyway, thanks for the help. I will figure it out I hope. Either that, or just keep on using the old profile site. Sue
