I don't want to single out Anne, I have a question about her page. I had tried to right-click to View Source. I'm clicking in a blank area and use IE 7. But I get a block, like ones used for "don't copy images" script. What code or script is preventing me from getting to View Source -- meaning, what script stops right-clicking a whole page? (versus images) Is the script just a total disable of right-click? The other comment is, although the personalized pop-up message says "Read only please", it doesn't prevent anyone from copying all the text on the page with just highlight and copy. But the pop-up does slow down people who want to help troubleshoot. I know I could have switched browsers and by-passed the block. Or, I could have even saved a copy to my hard-drive and looked that way or did a File>>Edit With to see all the code despite the block. But who wants to go around to a back door when the front door is closer? So my point is, maybe upload a copy without such block if asking for help so others can help -- / or learn -- too. And second, the block doesn't do much to stop anyone who really wants to copy the work. I gave up long ago with disabling right click because of the very informative discussions on this list about how it really provides no protection at all. I've also learned that if I don't want anyone copying my words or images, that I shouldn't put it on the Web at all.
