You will need to have some background in writing css and html - at least the basics - to make full use of the program. Think about how you want your site to look - the basics, header, footer, and most importantly a navigation system. Develop a basic template and style sheet. If you start using a external style sheet with a dynamic web template, in the future your site will be much easier to add to and maintain. I gave you some resources earlier which also include Tina's free Expression Web DWT. Once you have developed your dwt, then you can begin cleaning up your content and attaching the DWT to the clean content.
