    3. Tina, I used Front Page but not for the things that are given in the instructions to remove, etc. - just used it for the code writing. After I learned something about code I started using other programs. The listing I gave of the Microsoft Front Page that you said is outdated, is what I was using. I do know that it is outdated - the purpose in this is to get rid of the mess that it made. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I thought you meant that you HAD. >>From the instructions it appears that the process might possibly be about >>the same for Dreamweaver as with Expression Web. Yes thats what I meant you can easily move to any editor because you are dealing with html and css and not propriorty code. >Maybe you are trying to sell Expression Web - I have no idea - and maybe >you don't want to talk about other programs? 1/ I don't and never have sold Expression Web. 2/I don't use other programs, (I do use Expression web and have used FrontPage).... so I wouldn't know how to use them. I can talk about html and css sans an editor however. Note I never said I don't want to talk about other programs >If so, I understand - If not and you are objective - I have some concerns about using Expression Web. Probably most are nothing more than a lack of understanding since I have never used the program. Yes of course, exFP and EW users know its all about the nut behind the wheel not the actual car that does the driving ;~) > > I am thinking about using Dreamweaver for the process since I am familiar > with the program and already have it. Here is a link for the conversion > process for Dreamweaver. > > http://www.jsm-hosting.com/technical-info/convert-FrontPage-dreamweaver.html This just outlines how to remove stuff you dont actually have.... because you have not used fp (you said above) it does not tell you how to fix your orginal coding .... but I havent looked at your site. > Another answer - this is the details for Front Page - "Microsoft FrontPage > 5.0" - meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; > charset=windows-1252" sorry not sure what context you mean that in and the charset is outdated there. > I wish I could find an expert to do this for me, but I suppose, that would > probably be too costly since I have a large web site.
