Can anyone tell me why gif files will not show up on my webpages that are on my local hard drive? When using images on my webpages if I use jpg files they will show up when viewing the pages on my local drive, but gif files will not display. However, if I upload webpages and images to my Freepages site both gif and jpg files will be displayed properly. This happens every time I use gif files and it is not a matter of typing in the file names correctly or having them in the proper directory. Any help appreciated. pc
