Hi, I want to load the newsletter from our local genealogical society to my personal website/directory at rootsweb. Don't worry, I am not violating copyright -- I am the editor and have all the permissions. Our webmaster will then just link to those pages on my site (he travels much of the year and e-mailing pages via cell phone is a problem). I think this will be the best solution for us. I don't want to load to the site he created -- I don't want to be responsible for messing it up. Is there any way to upload the page, but not actually link it to my own family pages, yet have it available for the society to link to? For example, right now I have: my site/familygeneral/family#1 \ family#2 etc... Where in this mess do I add a new directory? Would it be a directory, or just a file? How do I make a new directory or file using WS_FTP? I'd like to have something like: my site/familygeneral/family#1 \ family#2 etc... newsletter (not linked to my site at all) Is this possible? All help is appreciated. Rel@ively, Patrice P.S. If you are interested you can see last years newsletters at http://rootsweb.com/~flbgs/NwsLtrs.htm .
Why couldn't you just create a page on your site for everyone to link to? Put only the newsletter on that page? am I missing something...hope not!
