Hello, I am new to the list. Just starting to upload my genealogy to rootsweb. I keep getting a message; error 530, login incorrect, I have tried logging into: users.rootsweb.com and homepages.rootsweb.com using the id and password emailed to me. any suggestions? thank you, Linda Golden

There are four web servers which have user accounts on them. Two of these have upload addresses which are different from their web addresses: http://www.rootsweb.com/~account uploads to users.rootsweb.com http://freepages.rootsweb.com/~account uploads to users.freepages.rootsweb.com Go back to the letter you received which has your userid and password. The server information will be in that letter. Note that both the userid and the password are cASe sensITIve -- you have to get it exactly right when logging in. Regards, Elsi Regards, Elsi
