One of the most requested changes to the old GenConnect system was the ability to globally change contact information. Coincidentally, this request was often made by novices who didn't think about adding a response to their own post with the updated email. The only way to have a global change ability is with a master database of names and email addresses. A password is necessary so only the User can change their information in MyProfile. Pat
