    3. Bettye: But why couldn't "US" volunteers search for what we're looking for also? I think the point is, we all do this from the goodness of our hearts for and to help other people just like we've been helped. If there is something I find interesting - I transcribe it - I'll just search on the boards for it first! I would really hate to see we volunteers "throw in the towel" because of this change. 3. Vonnie, I'm not saying "US" volunteers shouldn't be able to search for the information! I think you're totally missing my point! The problem is that when I now search for something that I know has definitely posted, I'm not finding it. For example, I've posted a lot of obits on Jones & Blackwell (my own family line) to the St. Francois County GenConnect Obituaries Board over the past year. Now when I go to St. Francois County Board and click "search this board" and put in the surname "Blackwell" or the surname "Jones ", I get message "zero" found, yet when I manually scan down through the list (which I shouldn't have to do), I can find these names. Why are they not coming up on the search? I've tried the advance search too, but it won't let you limit search to one geographic area so you're getting them from everywhere. Jones is not a name that you want to put in a search window without being able to limit it to a particular area. Also when I try to search by my name as author, I'm not getting them either. I too am very happy to contribute the information, however, I want to be able to easily find it, and I want others to be able to easily find it after it's been submitted. I also want to be able to accurately search to see if it's already been submitted before I submit it. Bettye ----- Original Message ----- From: "Vonnie" <vonnieann@earthlink.net> To: "B.
