Jane, It would be lovely to be able to tell everyone that their boards have been moved and where they are, but it isn't that simple. The reason being that sometimes we move complete categories and subsidiary boards, sometimes we don't know whether the boards have admins or not, plus with us trying to get to and move boards before we the rights approved it. Then to add the old hoary chestnut of time, the time it would take to find the admin's address, to send an email would add 50% of the time that it takes to do the process and to add that amount of time will affect all the other things that are needed to be done yet. As I said, I would love to be able to it, it really just isn't feasible and to allow any time away from this keyboard. Navigating through the maze will eventually take me to my Attala County, MS Board but it clearly indicates that I am not the Admin any more. I have tried repeatedly to sign on again as the Admin of this county without success. The URL everyone keeps referring to; including Jake Gehring, Executive Producer, RootsWeb.com, as reported in newsletter Vol 4 No, 26 June 27, 2001, http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec?htx=board&r=rw&p=RootsWeb-20- Topics-20-and-20-Localities.AdminCenter.suggestions doesn't work. I would like to have access to my boards and now apparently I have until July 23rd to figure something out. Everette Carr County Coordinator MSGenWeb - Attala County, MS USGenWeb Project Original Message----------------------------------- The main admin board is located here: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec?htx=admin.board&r=rw&p= You can navigate from there to any admin board. You won't be recognized as an admin until you are on a board you do admin. Joan
