This seems to be a problem out on the internet - somewhere between our ISPs and RootsWeb. I am having major problems staying connected while other staff is not having any problem at all. I ran a tracert and found a major timeout somewhere in alter.net. Alter.net is alternative name for uunet if I remembered right. Backbone network. Used to be connected to it through my former ISP. The main line of alter.net pass from Washington DC via Chicago and Salt Lake City to San Jose CA. The first backbone line.
