Okay.....thanks to all for your help and suggestions. I am VERY confused now tho. After hearing that Susan had gotten the images to show up on Netscape and IE, I tried it out. I can see them using either one. But evidently, some of you cannot. Looking at the page in my AOL browser, however, which is what I used first to look at the page cuz it's my ISP, I still cannot see them. My code looks okay to me for directing the browser to the right place to get the images, but for some reason, it isn't working consistently in IE, Netscape, or at all on AOL. grrrrr Is there somewhere I can contact a Rootsweb admin to help me out with this? Sue!!!!! Found your problem!!! After seeing someone responding that they can't see the pics and then your latest message, I tried it all again. This time I directly clicked on your link in the message: >http://www.rootsweb.com/~vtrutlan/index.html/ Surprise, surprise no images! Needless to say I was buffaloed for saw them all earlier as I reported to you. Thennnnn I fooled around and found that front slash (/) at the end, after html, is the culprit. If you use the address without it: http://www.rootsweb.com/~vtrutlan/index.html or http://www.rootsweb.com/~vtrutlan/ all works fine. That last slash is messing it up. I causes it to look for the images in a folder titled index.html for a slash more or less represents a folder and with it following html it doesn't know where to look. My pages all work the same also. For instances my town of Plymouth page works with either of the following: http://www.rootsweb.com/~macplymo/index.htm http://www.rootsweb.com/~macplymo/ If the following is used with the ending slash: http://www.rootsweb.com/~macplymo/index.htm/ It acts likes yours did - no images.
