Hi, I agree with Linda's advice about checking the battery. I also notice that you are an America Online user. I'm not an AOL user but when I last helped a person get setup with AOL software they had 2 connection options (1) AOL proprietary (2) PPP - the Internet standard for dial-up connections. If you are using PPP then you can acquire software that will automatically set your clock to the correct time (within a few hundred milliseconds or so depending on your system platform) via Internet time servers. Visit a shareware site like "tucows.erols.com" and look under clocking software. Some packages are freeware, others are shareware. Pick what you like and install it. Your computer will always have the correct time if you use the software to automatically set the clock every few minutes. There are technical names for the mechanisms that do this so if you are very technically inclined I can provide more precise terminology and descriptions for you.
