I just noticed something quite odd when updating my website at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~vnfa I first updated on 7 Mar 2001 and thought things were normal, until I visited the site tonight and saw that my pages were still showing the older (Oct 2000) version of the site. So I uploaded the pages again (FTP showed that the files in question were updated as I thought on 7 Mar 2001 but the byte sizes were the same as the older 2000 files). Cleared the cache on my browser, and visited the site again. Same thing. Older pages, older byte size. I repeated this process several times, even deleting all the files in my Rootsweb directory and uploading "fresh" files. No change. To give an example of old vs. new: http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~vnfa/publications.html The old page showed newsletter information up to Feb 2000. The new page shows newsletter information up to 2001. When I view the page online (after clearing cache and refreshing) I see only the old (2000) page.
