    3. In regard to your using Front Page Express to edit your pages and then the page appearing in Arial rather than in the font you've chosen when formatting: This sometimes happens due to slight incompatabilities that still exist between browsers: ie, Netscape vs. Explorer. A basic HTML manual may help. When you use a text editor (like front page, I use Word), it automatically converts your formatting to HTML. I usually have to go in to "View HTML" and fix small things that will affect how the page appears. If the computer that is trying to load the page can't read the font you've chosen, it automatically defaults to a more standard font, usually Times New Roman. (In this case, apparently it liked Arial). Incidentally, if you are editing the HTML directly, you can list as many fonts as you want, first choice through last, and the computer will cycle through all of them until it finds one it can use...or, if there aren't any, default again. Hope this helps. ----- Original Message ----- From: <RootsWeb-Help-D-request@rootsweb.com> To: <RootsWeb-Help-D@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, September 02, 2001 3:01 AM Subject: RootsWeb-Help-D Digest V01 #184
