The file is a virus and did not come from your posting the message on the board but rather from the fact that the post was gatewayed to a corresponding mailing list and went out to the members of the list. Someone who subscribes to the list is unknowingly infected with the virus and when your email address ended up in the inbox of the infected person the virus sent out the attachment. The best thing to do is to notify the person the attachment came from to let them know they are infected and need to clean their computer. The virus is called Bad Trans. Hopefully you didn't open the attachment and you should delete it from your computer completely without opening it. Joan
