You can still go and download a GEDCOM as always. No information such as you list above is requested or required. Ancestry isn't charging for access, or requiring that you subscribe, in order to download user-contributed data in an Ancestry World Tree. Omeda and Joan: There is definitely a problem with accessing Ancestry.com other than just the World Tree. I tried repeatedly to sign on last night and to renew my subscription. It kept telling me that the username I wanted had already been used. It was of course, my own username I have used for years on there. When I then asked for help with my password, they gave me four different connections and usernames that I have used in the past and told me to change my password and it would take me to where I could resubscribe.. All four links were legitimate but no longer active. BUT the links all took me to the page where you had to reenter your username instead of the page to renew my subscription. Around and around we went until I finally gave up and decided I really didn't need to renew or use Ancestry this week. It isn't like I was a newbie to the site as I have used it extensively in the past few years. It was just plain impossible to access anything on there last night. Norma Jennings
