Lisa-- There is a Listowners' list and there may also be a Newbie Listowners - not sure about that. You can browse the Listowners-L archives at Rootsweb and get some ideas too. I rarely get answers to my posts. Lots of subscribers just like to keep in touch although they are not active, or are working on other lines at the moment. I just keep posting information that will be helpful to present and future researchers, and use informative subjects -- surname, given name, date and location so people can browse the chronological archives. Other listowners post all their research activities. Some have rollcalls to get every one involved. You might think about creating a web-page for the surname on Freepages at Rootsweb, or some other place, that invites subscribers. In any case, good for you, and keep on the good work.
