I've been looking among the Rootsweb FAQs for some guidance on filename lengths. Up to now I've been sticking with 8 dot 3, all lowercase. I will continue to stick with lower case, but would really like to use longer file names for pages, jpegs etc. so it's a little easier to tell what those files are. Can someone tell me the practical limits for filenames on the rootsweb servers or point me to a help page on this subject?
