Sharon: I don't know why your FTP program isn't showing the public_html directory. It's there. Which FTP program are you using? I use WS_FTP LE and just go ahead and set up the "initial remote site directory" to be "public_html" and so WS_FTP just puts me in it from the start. I don't have to worry about whether it is shown or not. The technicians have looked around and cannot see anything wrong. One idea that we just had - there was a bug in some levels of Cute FTP and WS_FTP that made files older than 6 month old invisible. Upgrading to a new release of those software programs cured the problem. My public_html directory has a date of 2000-06-16 and I'll bet yours does too; which makes the directory just over 6 months old. This may be why your FTP software can't see it. You can try upgrading your FTP software first, or post some more information so we can try to figure out what's going on here. Regardless, your web files are certainly there - and the directories too. Regards, Elsi
