Check your e-mail settings; it's possible you are sending mail in HTML format and you don't know it. Most of the time it makes no difference. But these older mail servers only handle text. There is a limit on most of the lists. Try posting again in several parts. Or just post a link to it. Dora On 8/8/2012 8:41 AM, Nelda Percival wrote: > First probability ? I rarely post on this list, but I am just stumped with this problem. I'll start with the most recent occurence and then give a little history of how I (stupidly) got here. I just changed my Internet provider, and during the rough transision, I decided to switch all of my genealogy addresses to my patsabin.com domain. That way, if the new provider didn't work out, I'd be OK. Years ago, 1997-1999, I created RootsWeb lists and forums for my USGenWeb counties. Shortly afterward, I began uploading my GEDCOMS to WorldConnect in separate geographical groups, with my New England families in one group, my South Carolina families in a separate group, etc. By doing that, I created about seven different GEDCOMS with different user names (ACKKKK!). In the last couple of years, I've tried to merge all of these accounts and update my email address for RootsWeb and Ancestry.com. It always seems to work, but the next time I visit a forum which I moderate, it still shows my old (disabled) email address. Thanks in advance for any ideas. If they were created that long ago, they were probably uploaded using the old/original User Setup/Edit -- http://wc.rootsweb.ancestry.com/cgi-bin/igmuser.cgi Login to each user name there, change the email on the GEDCOM, then login to MyAccount https://myaccount.rootsweb.com/ Click on the <https://myaccount.rootsweb.com/?op=services&kurl=https://myaccount.rootsweb.com/>Add existing services to this account link. You can add all of your WorldConnect GEDS to My Account so you can access them with the new User Setup/Edit tools from there. >In the last couple of years, I've tried to merge all of these >accounts and update my email address for RootsWeb and Ancestry.com. >It always seems to work, but the next time I visit a forum which I >moderate, it still shows my old (disabled) email address. The List or Board Admin address must be updated using the list and/or board Admin Tools. Login to your tool pages, update your email address for each, then again return to MyAccount to associate the "new" email address with your RootsWeb/Ancestry Account. Pat Asher

Hi Cheryl, You can take any image and decrease the size to 48 x 48 pixels. If you want a transparent background, save it as a gif or png image first and delete the background (the png seems to be a smoother image). Then save it as "favicon.ico". They all have the same name, so I keep each one of mine in a folder with the site name on it. Upload the favicon.ico to the root page of the site and Voila! Cute little icon. Or use a generator. Some work better than others, so try a couple. Rel@ively, Patrice At 3/26/2012 03:00 AM, singhals <singhals@erols.com> wrote: >Someone tell me where to find the instructions for doing >that?
