My email messages to a rootsweb mailing list are bouncing because of a sorbs blacklist. Their site states that I'm going to have to pay a FINE to get this cleared up. What's up with that? Will Johnson

Hi Sharon, > Does anyone know how I can go about retrieving my password to be able to get into Fetch to make changes on my site? Have you tried Password Central at http://passwordcentral.rootsweb.ancestry.com/ ? You can get there by clicking on the "Passwords" tab on any Rootsweb page. Hope this helps. :-) Kind Regards, Wendy Howard *** Please reply to the list *** -- Kaiwaka, Northland, New Zealand http://freepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~wendyh65/ <http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/%7Ewendyh65/>

Donna Cooper Actully no you don't you just select the one you already set up... for any particular web you might want to publish to more than one location so ew allows you do that ... so just select the one you set up before and select changed pages and then publish changed pages. I think pat has something on publishing. I hope you can turn that feature off in dw .... I'd hate to have that on by default not be able to turn it off. btw if you followed the setting up ebook it covers intelliSense and everything else for setting up. Thanks. With Dreamweaver, I am used to saving a file to my computer - and when it saves - it also publishes to the web. I really like that option - because it saves so much time. Another option that I seem to be missing on Expression Web - is auto completion of certain code words. I can't seem to find a way to do that - again, used to having another nice option on Dreamweaver. Help - going down third time. If someone out there has Expression Web 4 and knows how to set to the FTP options with a success rate of better than 3 to 1 - I would like to hear from you. With my Dreamweaver software, I save a file and publishes directly to the web. It is so easy to use. I understand the options - but with Expression Web I am still in puzzle land. Every time I open the software I have to put in the FTP options and give it my password, etc. - and oh, well, you don't need to know all the other negative details - just need help. Although I must say, that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and sometimes it locks up and shuts down - I suppose it needs a new operator. Help appreciated. Thanks. Donna Cooper

Donna, Looking at the source of your page, you have, for example, <.td width="193" bgcolor="#FFFFEA"><.a href="<view-source:http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/cemetery/roller-ar/view-source:http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/%7Emobarry/cemetery/roller-ar/101_0002.JPG>101_0002.JPG">ALLRED, Nancy (ROLLER)<./a><./td>e Did you want it to be <.td class="tablecellname" width="193" bgcolor="#FFFFEA"><a href="<view-source:http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/cemetery/roller-ar/view-source:http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/%7Emobarry/cemetery/roller-ar/101_0002.JPG>101_0002.JPG">ALLRED, Nancy (ROLLER)</a><./td> Without the dot/periods of course. Instead, your style sheet lives in the same directory as the page. Change your code to read <.link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="<view-source:http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~mobarry/cemetery/roller-ar/view-source:http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/%7Emobarry/cemetery/roller-ar/style_cemetery.css>style_cemetery.css" media="screen" /> You will also need to correct your TABLE coding. Nested tables reside inside the data cell of the "larger" table, e.g. <.table> <.tr> <.td> <.table> <.tr> <.td> <./td> <./tr> <./table> <./td> <./tr> <./table> <table> <table> <table> etc. is invalid coding. A validator is your friend <g> Pat Asher
I have it - but haven't tried it out yet. Thanks for the help and for the tip! I can use all the help that happens to come my way. It is very much appreciated. Again, thanks.
