Marcia, I haven't figured out a way to change the opacity of a layer in Paintshop Pro. I like the effect you have on your web site. I understand that Paintship Pro is now owned by Adobe. I know that the price has gone up dramatically. I am using the last version that was created by JASC. My budget won't allow me to obtain Adobe Photoshop. Ron

Ron, I enjoyed seeing the photo collage also. I do collages like this on a regular basisfor our county wesite that I maintain and on a professional basis for people. I use Adobe photoshop. Our photos page has a collage on it that I thouht you might enjoy. i have purchased software from known venders that use spyware, such as Broderbund. It's not always of unknown origin, like Avenue A. Companies (such as this ad agency) may regularly lace their software with spybots. If you're using software that's initiated the spyware, and it's a problem then another option is to contact the vender of the software. I also just use tables, with or without borders, for organization. Use a simple Alphabet letter listing, or thumbnails, on an index page for navigation. Make pages (or at least the Index) open in a New Window rather than Parent, so users can keep the index open while viewing pictures. I always get this name wrong, but Google the word InfraView, or InfraView+graphics program. It's a free, simple graphics program for resizing and thumbnails. Hi Shari at Bixby, I went to Yahoo and did a search for Avenue A, Inc. Sounds like Avenue A spyware is probably provided by some of your legitimate software, I'd guess? There were products also to remove the spyware. So sounds like it's on your machine, not the web site, although I don't know what process you use to maintain your web info. I am wondering how it got out there. To learn more, I clicked on the Wikipedia link that was on the screen. Does anyone have an easy to update suggestion for organizing and posting a group of photos on a website? Like most historical societies, our money needs to stretch in many directions so am looking for something very reasonable in price or something I can write, myself. It doesn't need to be 'cute' just neat, easily navigated and quickly updated. Would like to see examples on some websites. Shari P.S.
