    3. No. What happened was that I had the Country name and the cemetery name. Then I split the cemetery name off and put it in the details. This ended up producing the cemetery name and the county name. Good so far. There were a good many cemeteries in the country where I had people. I ended up with several Nacogdoches Co., Texas place names. I couldn't see the detail in the place name index. Not thinking, I merged all those Nacogdoches names. I was unhappy when I found that my one Nacogdoches Co., Texas place had 5 cemeteries in the details section. The Original cemeteries are in the right place in the person's page. When I discovered that, I didn't split off any other of the cemetery details. It may work as it was planned to, but it doesn't look right to me. I stopped splitting out the cemeteries as soon as I realized what I was doing. I follow pretty much the same procedure and I don't seem to have a problem. So I'm trying to figure out what we are doing differently. Here'a a question, when you say that you click on a county name in the Place List and have 5 cemetery names, what's the problem? That's the way it's supposed to work. Or are you saying that you get duplicate cemetery names? If so, then you need to merge them in the same basic way that you merged the counties. 3. If you click on "Nacogdoches Co., Texas" in the Place list, it makes no difference which place detail you highlight before you do the print. Print is for the whole place and if you have the check mark before "Print place details" they and what happened there will be printed at the bottom of the listing after all the items in that place which have no place details. Yes, that's exactly the way it's supposed to work. Let's suppose at this point you were to add a new burial in Nacogdoches Co., Texas. Start to type the Place Name for the new burial into the system as N-a-c-o-g.... etc. When Nacogdoces Co., Texas appears as an item in the dropdown list, select it. At that moment, you will not have a cemetery name just yet. So click the green road sign icon at the right end of the Place Details field, and you will get a list of your five cemeteries. Pick the one you want, and you are done. I do think the Place Details workflow is a little awkward at this point if the item you want is not already in the Place Details list, for example if you need to add a sixth cemetery name. That's because you can't enter a new Place Details name from the Place Details sub-window. So you will have to click Cancel and enter the new cemetery name in the Place Details sub-window for the burial fact. As an alternative workflow that may feel a little more natural, after choosing Nacogdoces Co., Texas as the place, don't click the green road sign icon at the right end of the Place Details list. Instead, just go ahead and start typing your cemetery name into the Place Details field of the sub-window for the burial fact. If the cemetery you are trying to enter is already in the system for Nacogdoces Co., Texas, then it will quickly appear in a new dropdown list and you can select it. If not, you just go ahead and complete the typing of the new cemetery name. Jerry
