I really REALLY like the new feature in version 6, publish online. I playing around with it I've found that it produces exactly what I've been wanting to find for several years, the means to put a browse-able copy of my family data on a CD. I generate the on-line data (which is first stored on my computer) then instead of sending it to a web site, I simply copy the files to a CD. (We've been generating the family CD for family members at the annual reunion for over 10 years now.... and this feature should prove to be a nice addition.) However, as nice as it is, it "seems" that it should be easy to make this run on Android tablets and phones. For the CD to run the application, it's only necessary for the user to open his/her browser and double click the "index.html" file that RM creates. I can easily accomplish this on the menu that I put on our CD. It seem to me that it should also be possible to run this ap on a smart phone or tablet. But I can't figure out how. So my post is really to ask for anyone with more technical knowledge for help. Am I expecting too much, or is this something that might be fairly easy to implement? Now I know that I can simply upload the data to a web site, and have the phone or tablet users access the data that way.... and it might be that's what I'll have to do.
