Hello List, I have been going through all my places to standardize the place names and to add the geo code to it. In doing this, I have a place called Prince George Parish which is in Prince George County in Maryland. Did this place change to Virginia and if so do I leave it as Virginia or do I leave it as Maryland? Thank you, Cynthia

My instinct would put it in the place it was at the time. If you have version 5 or 6 you can use CountyCheck to investigate when and if the boundaries changed. Of course that may well mean that you end up with the same town in different counties and in your case maybe different states.
