For some reason, when I try to check for updates to RM, I get this message: "You are running in To-Go mode. Update your desktop copy of Rootsmagic and then run RootsMagic To-Go to update this copy." I AM NOT running RM in the "To-Go" mode! Why does the program think I am doing so? How in Hades do I convince RM that I'm running the program from my desktop? I've searched all the FAQs and can find nothing to explain this problem. Any help appreciated. George W. The program thinks you are in To-Go mode because the copy of RM you are running is not in the same folder you installed it in. When you install RM, the installer keeps track of the folder that the program was installed in (all installers do this).
