Hugh, I'm just a novice here, although I have been researching for over 30 years and using multiple softwares in those 30 years, finally finding Family Origins, and now RootsMagic. I don't have anything to add that will help you, but I am puzzled as to why you move your database between RM and Legacy? I believe I tried Legacy once, years ago, but didn't stick with it for some reason or another. What is your purpose for moving your database between the two softwares? What does Legacy give you that RM does not? Brenda ----- Original Message ----- From: "J.
