You do understand that FamilySearch is owned and operated by the LDS Church and is primarily for the benefit of LDS members? And that access to it is not a function of RM, but LDS procedures? And that when a list administrator asks that a thread be stopped because it is not relevant to the purpose of the list, good list users knock it off? No matter how badly they want access to something that is not a feature of RM. If you want to complain, direct your complaints to LDS and FamilySearch. They are trying to correct bad data and eliminate duplicates in the process. Basic facts are being released first with the photostats of the originals. Many old databases they have were hand typed from hand written pages.
