It seems to generate and open the RTF file fine for me. I am running RM 5.0.4.1 and it opens in MSWord 2007 without any problems. Patricia

I think that MS Word must have recently changed their specifications for RTF files because I have no problem with Word 2000 either. SO, if you have problems with Word, what version of Word is it? Likewise, if you are posting that you have no problems with FGS displays, the name of the software and the Version. It isn't really RootsMagic's fault if Microsoft decided to "improve" things again.
