Go to: http://www.rootsmagic.com/Updates/RootsMagic/ And download the "RootsMagic 5.0.4.1 Installer" to a folder on your computer, the desktop will do. I had that shut down the downloading one time but it seemed to start where it had left off the next time, although I am using Firefox. After the download is complete, you can double click on that downloaded file and it will install the update for you. If you have RM4 on your computer it will ask if you want to delete it or overwrite it or something, just answer NO and it will update RM5 for you.
