    3. Hi, I don't always fill in every box in the source template because I put a lot of the information in the details. However, now my footnotes have extra commas where the information was supposed to be. I'm working on the "Census, US State (off site)" template. My footnote looks like this: 4th ward City of Atchison, p. 2, dwelling 8, family 10, J Hulaniski household, 1885 Kansas State Census, Atkinson County, pop sched, , ; , Ancestry.com, http://www.ancestry.com. Is there a way to have the "empty fields" and commas suppressed? Lisa Gorrell

    3. Only by editing the sentence templates for that source template. But you cannot edit built in source templates. You can make a copy of it and the copy will be editable. You can make a new master source identical to the one giving you problems but using the editable source template, merge the old source into the new source and edit the new source template sentence templates to give you the footnotes the way you want.
