I simply copied them from the disc to a convenient location, then set up a shortcut to the placedb.exe file. Works fine. I read a post mentioning that someone had emailed the 3 files to someone wanting the installation. That doesn't seem legal.... if Bruce wanted "everyone" to have the program he's just post the 3 files for download. -- Charlie Hoffpauir http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~charlieh/ Message board: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec?htx=board&r=rw&p=surnames.hoffpauir Mail list: http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/surname/h/hoffpauir.html DNA project: <http://www.familytreedna.com/group-join.aspx?Group=Hoffpauir>
