    3. In a few words, can anyone out there (such as the RootsMagician, maybe) tell me where I can get another copy of “Place Finder” that once came with the old Family Origins, or at least tell me whether or not it is even available any more? I’ve recently had to replace my primary computer (or to be more correct, Dell replaced it), and in doing so I had to reinstall all of the software, and I never realized how much I was still using Place Finder until I didn’t have it any more. :-( I realize there is Family Atlas, and I use that as well, but PF was a handy little tool good for a quick place name look up, and I really miss not having it. It originally came with Family Origins (FO6?), but in a fit of finally cleaning out some old things accumulated after years of being a confirmed packrat, I no longer have my FO CDs any more. <sigh> Not one of my better lifetime decisions I am afraid, but now I have to live with it. If anyone out there has any suggestions to resolve my problem, I'd love to hear from you. David E. Cann decann@infionline.net or on Skype at "david.e.cann"

    3. Place Finder was a standalone program within the RM 3 folder. It was referenced from the program, but was not a part of the program itself. If you had bought RM 3 perhaps you can still get a download copy from RM. If yoiu registered and don't have the input reg info, you may still be able to get it from RM. Since no free version was issued, it won't open without that. The download is still available. 3. You can dictate the location of Place Finder from the installation of RM 3, uninstalling RM 3 afterwards if needed. Jo p Czarowitz *** On Sun, Jun 10, 2012 at 4:58 PM, David E.
