Hi Lisa, Don't give up on the Research Notes report just yet. I think it will show you some shared facts. I've just started using RootsMagic myself, and I am also experimenting with the Research Notes report. I always run it for a family, not for an individual, and I've observed that the report will show a shared fact on the parents' report if the child is the sharer and the parent is the sharee, but, if I run a report for the child and their spouse, it does not show shared facts where the parent is the sharer and the child the sharee. (Also, note that the family version of the report includes the births of children.) Gina
Hi Gina, Thanks for your comments. I was thinking of trying the parents-family report to see what I can see before going back and unsharing. I will try that. I also don't like how the place name list is only in alpha order by city, county, etc. I used Legacy before and I had an option to have the list be in the "reverse" order. I create all my sources by location. To me location is the most important thing.
