I have created a RM website from my family file but I don't know how to get it onto the Internet. RM Support said they don't handle that.

Somewhere you need a host. My ISP (baja broadband) and the isp before them gave subscribers disk space and access for a personal website. Assuming you have space somewhere that is internet accessible, you would make the file using rootsmagic. The usual way to transfer the file is using FTP (file transfer protocol) to move it to the space you have reserved. In both of my cases, I had to call the ISP and request the space be made available and the name reserved. There was no problem either time, but it wasn't something that happened automatically. In my case I had a simple website that has to do with my Jeep, my shop and a little of my history. I just tacked the rootsmagic file on the end and made a menu to access it. To host it yourself, you would have to have a computer that was powered on all the time and a fixed IP address. Here is what I came up with. The rootsmagic file is the bottom menu item.
