I have no desire to restart the overly long and drawn out (and off topic?) discussion that mercifully ended here not long ago, but if anyone would like a copy of it I have just located something on the subject that some of you might like to have. It is a one-page *.pdf document that I saved some time ago that explains the double-dating system, what the different systems mean, and how we got to the mess in dates in the first place. Did you realize that it is not 2012 everywhere in the world today, and that other dates are used even today in the world? Just something interesting if you want a simple and easy to understand explanation of how we got into the confusing mess.
