    3. Using RootsMagic Explorer, you could: Find > Any fact > Place > Contains > countyname. You could use this same search criterion using Groups to create a Named Group of those persons with which you can also restrict certain reports to include just those persons. That search criterion might return some unwanted results, e.g., a city or state having the same name as a county like Ontario county, California and Ontario province, Canada. Another way depends on geo-coding: use the Place List report option Print Events Near a Place and enter the geographic coordinates of the centre of the county and a distance equal to half its maximum dimension. I'm not sure if RM uses a circle or square to determine what is included so you may get some places outside the desired area or miss some within it, whether due to shape mismatch or geo-coding omissions or errors.
