You should probably contact Tech Support tomorrow. Did you not receive an email following your purchase of the upgrade with a new registration key for RM6? The rmgb file type does not automatically open RM even when RM is installed and RM also does not "Open" it. It "Restores" a rmgc file from a rmgb file and opens the rmgc file. Since you have not opened anything with your RM6 program, you can download and reinstall RM5 with your old key, if you need to carry on for a while until you get RM6 sorted out. Next time you install RM6, you can choose the option to keep RM5 so that you can play around with 6 before migrating. Remember, though, that any database you Open with RM6 gets modified and cannot be opened thereafter by RM5. Your RM5 backups remain unchanged.
