Using Win7, you could type the filename with extension, e.g., myfamily.rmgc, into the "Search programs and files" box adjacent to the Start button. It should find it after a while in Windows Explorer; hopefully you do not have two or more with the same name. Alternatively, you can click on Start > Computer to open Windows Explorer and starting with the drive letter you saw at the top of the RM window, follow the full path to the folder where the .rmgc file is stored and browse that folder to select the file. Ctrl-C to copy the file, find your Dropbox folder using Win Explorer, and paste the file into it (select and Ctrl-V). Or use right-click functionality to Copy and Paste. Well - success! The file I copied to Dropbox had no extension, and was labeled "RootsMagic File" Among about 30 files with the same name, it had today's date; so I picked it It seems to work, as I get the RootsMagic presentation on my IPhone The other files had extensions like .CDX, .DBF, FPT, but had older dates I should probably delete all these, but thought they were in active use Thanks so much for your help Frost On Mon, Dec 17, 2012 at 8:18 PM, Tom Holden <ve3meo@gmail.com> wrote: > Using Win7, you could type the filename with extension, e.g., > myfamily.rmgc, > into the "Search programs and files" box adjacent to the Start button.
