    3. In my old software, I used the repository for microfilm information, because I only had to type in the information for a roll one time. But obviously the predefined fields in Rootsmagic aren't large enough to hold this information. I'd love a field where I could link a microfilm roll to a source and have that print with the source, so I only had to enter this information one time, since I tend to use the same microfilm over and over for different sources. This also allowed me to attach research tasks to the roll of microfilm. So here's my questions: Does the repository information print as part of the source output. My GEDCOM put all the sources into a free form source template, and I can't figure out how to edit those to another source type, other than creating a new source and then merging the sources. If the repository information does print, does the repository note print as part of the source output? I can continue to do what I am doing now, if I just move the microfilm information into the note section of the repository, if that prints. I am thinking I could just move my current text to the repository note field and then just have [repository note] print where the repository text should be. Note: I only use footnotes, never Bibliography so this would work for me if the repository note prints. Where is the best place to enter the information about the microfilm roll? Preferably so that I don't have to type it over and over again. My family is all from the same small area, so it's not unusual for me to find 5 or more ancestors in the same will book or deed book.

    3. In my opinion the micro film is the source and the building or office where it is found is the repository.
