I created a trial website with RootsMagic 6, using the Create HTML option, and it does not look right. Would someone please take a look at this page and notice all the underlined and bold text? http://dl.dropbox.com/u/20843627/b4952.htm There are two headings that are supposed to be in bold & underlined - "Britton Scott's Birth and Parentage" and "A Chronological Record of Britton's Life." But the facts and notes are not in bold and underlined in my database. Notice the formating ends when the children start, but continues again farther down at the facts about a second wife. I have had a website online for several years, created with RM4 and then RM5 and have always had the problem with the marriage section appearing in bold, but I lived with it. I don't think I want to live with all this. Hope someone has a fix for this! Thanks, Yvonne Scott
It can be fixed manually by opening the htm file with Notepad or some other text editor. find the below bit of code. Remove the first instance of bold <b> as there is only one end of bold </b>. Add an end of underline </u> after Life. <p><u><b><p><br><b>A Chronological Record of Britton's Life<p></b> It really should look more like this: <u><b>A Chronological Record of Britton's Life</u></b> I see now there are several more sections in the file that are missing end of bold </b> and one more end of underline </u> missing in the file. -Mike On 1/5/2013 6:21 PM, Yvonne Scott wrote: > I created a trial website with RootsMagic 6, using the Create HTML option, > and it does not look right. > > Would someone please take a look at this page and notice all the underlined > and bold text? http://dl.dropbox.com/u/20843627/b4952.htm > > There are two headings that are supposed to be in bold & underlined - > "Britton Scott's Birth and Parentage" and "A Chronological Record of > Britton's Life."
