Two differences; Ancestry is more affordable, since they have an affordable monthly subscription option, and far more people have subscriptions to Ancestry. MyHeritage wants to work with 23andMe, as I understand it. They'll get far more subscriptions if they stop with the high annual or semi-annual fee. It's the biggest thing in their way.
