    3. Margaret, I did close down and restart and everything came back. The only other window that I had open was my mail and I did shut that down. This is the first time that it has happened to me and it was confusing. I did notice that I had on the desk top a frame that went around the edge of the screen and it had the three boxes at the upper right to minus, reduce and close out (x). I couldn't get rid of that either. I remember expanding a frame to see more of the data and didn't reduce it, but not sure if that had anything to do with it. I did back up my data a few days ago on to a cd but I couldn't get it onto my flash drive with RM to go. I had a red flag saying there was a problem and I didn't know what to do about it. Thanks for a listening ear. When I have problems with RM, once out of the problem, I always restart the computer. Often we may have several programs open at the same time, which can occasionally cause conflicts. Starting with a fresh reboot clears out the computer's memory and may well solve the problem. You may not lose anything by turning off the computer, but it is always wise to backup your RM database every hour or so. It does not take much time, and it gives one peace of mind should some problem occur Margaret Scheffler -----Original Message----- From: Emery St Cyr via I was on rm6 and clicked on the person that I wanted to add a fact to and when I clicked on add a fact I got the little blue circle that goes around next to the pointer and it never goes off and I can't do anything on rm. I can go back to office 2010 and use it but and look at other mail but can nut shut down or do anything with rm. Can I just turn off the computer? Will I lose anything?
