    3. I was on rm6 and clicked on the person that I wanted to add a fact to and when I clicked on add a fact I got the little blue circle that goes around next to the pointer and it never goes off and I can't do anything on rm. I can go back to office 2010 and use it but and look at other mail but can nut shut down or do anything with rm. Can I just turn off the computer? Will I lose anything? Help Em

    3. Control, Alt Delete should bring up Windows Task Manager and highlight RM (the program that is not responding) and then click END TASK. 3. Rootsmagic (or any program for that matter) can stop working or "hang" at points. When I have problems with RM, once out of the problem, I always restart the computer. Often we may have several programs open at the same time, which can occasionally cause conflicts. Starting with a fresh reboot clears out the computer's memory and may well solve the problem. You may not lose anything by turning off the computer, but it is always wise to backup your RM database every hour or so. It does not take much time, and it gives one peace of mind should some problem occur Margaret Scheffler -----Original Message----- From: Emery St Cyr via I was on rm6 and clicked on the person that I wanted to add a fact to and when I clicked on add a fact I got the little blue circle that goes around next to the pointer and it never goes off and I can't do anything on rm.
