You can put both files on screen side by side in RM 6. Look at each person's parents and other known data. If both are the same then You can drag and drop the person in question to the other file. I caution you about dragging the ancestors or descendants because you can get a lot of duplicates. NEXT You can edit this person to remove bad or incorrect info. Now backup tour databases. Check other names likewise. Moving up to RM 7 gives you more options, but in this case you already knw that the files are alike, so upgrade is not necessary.
