Well, since this seems to be 'back on the list', I'll provide an update! Actually it's going very well. We have been 'assigning' a webinar or two to watch during the month until the next meeting. Then, at the meeting, we bring the webinar up to watch and go to the areas where people have questions .... which leads to great discussions and demonstrations of other ideas along the lines. This past meeting (January) we discussed some stuff from the 'files & folders' webinar but then went to the 'online publishing' part in 'What's new in RM Version 7' as that was the second part of the 'assignment'! That was a very lively discussion and those present (was a snowy day) gained a lot of knowledge and were very excited. Looks like we'll keep this format, at least for a while, by popular demand! Assigning two webinars to watch, track questions from the webinars, review at the meeting and provide support, encouragement and enthusiasm !!! Nothing set in stone. New users try the numbers in bold and have them try the Essentials. Since you already had the Dec meeting and possibly the Jan, how are the feelings of the group? By watching the webinars on What's New in RootsMagic 5; 6; and 7, they can feel the difference and with Essentials try before you buy. The paid versions offer extra features, but all are unlimited in time usage and dependent on their needs, an Essentials version might be the only one needed.
