    3. Hello listers I have recently found two different people on ancestry that had trees which were members of my family. They had some information missing (unavailable) that I have and would be glad to share with them but I don't know how to get in touch with them. Any help will be gratefully appreciated. Em

    3. Easy - look at the top of the web page of the family tree - you'll find a tab labeled "Owner" with a silhouette and then a username - click on that - it will take you to the owner's info and the ability to contact them - click on the the key labeled contact and you'll be able to email them. 3. That may be a better question to ask ancestry.com. This board is unaffiliated with them and is not equipped to answer questions for them. 3. You can put notes on the tree, I think, but think before you do, and be tactful. Information that seems critical to you could be perceived by them as messing with their tree. For instance, I keep online databases about all McKinstry families I have information about, as recently as I have information about them. I'll find notes added informing me that thus and such a person did a whole bunch of stuff in 1900, and I'm like, why. Then I often delete it. And don't use that feature to argue with people. 3. You have to contact them through the ancestry system; they can't let you know their e-mail address even if they want to. If you're lucky they'll both log in this year and look at their contacts.
